Stephanie Kohler

Stephanie took the annual Lory's Place facilitator training and became an active volunteer in 2005. In July of 2007 she accepted the position of Family Services Coordinator. She administrates the First Mates peer support group, for ages 6-11. She also works with children ages 3-5, on an as needed basis. Also included in her responsibilities are various school groups and community outreach opportunities. She has a certificate in Thanatology from the National Center for Death Education at Mount Ida College.

Mary Andres

Mary started as a volunteer facilitator over four years ago. She has volunteered her time within a number of different groups. In January of 2009, Mary stepped into a new role as a staff member and Family Services Coordinator at Lory's Place. She is now leading the Admirals (Adults only group), Captains/Commodores (middle and high school), and various St. Joseph/Benton Harbor area school and community outreach groups. Mary has worked diligently to achieve a Master's Degree from Western Michigan University. She is a native of Southwest Michigan and is honored to be able give back to her community in such a significant way.

Nancy Patterson

Nancy is originally from Southwest Michigan. She holds a bachelor's degree in family life education from Spring Arbor University. Nancy has been on staff at Lory's Place since 2009 and before that had been a volunteer with Lory's Place since it opened in 2004. Nancy leads the Suicide Loss Support Group at Lory's Place and works with people who have experienced a prenatal or infant death. Nancy also does community outreach/crisis work and leads school groups in the South County area.

Trisha Pickett

Trisha graduated with an Associates Degree in Sales and Marketing from Southwestern Michigan College in 2000. As a Bereavement and Donor Support Coordinator, she provides administrative support for our development and bereavement departments at Hospice at Home/Lory's Place. She joined us in 2006.

Lisa Bartoszek

Lisa Bartoszek is the Founder and Director of Lory's Place, a Grief Healing and Education Center and Bereavement Service of Hospice at Home, Inc.. Lisa is an RN with 29 years of experience, trained in Critical Incident Stress Management. Lisa has been trained at the Dougy Center to develop and operate all aspects of a grief center.
